Registration fees

This year, we have lowered the registration fee for the “red dot award:

communication design” in the categories Advertising, Corporate Design, Packaging Design, Editorial and Poster. There is still a fee payable for each individual exhibit, which means that the registration fee is scaled according to the number of exhibits as soon as an entry consists of more than one part.

Category 1 Corporate Design, 3 Advertising, 4 Packaging Design, 5 Editorial, 6 Poster A fee is payable for every single exhibit (= part). In other words, the registration fee for the simultaneous registration of more than one exhibit (= parts) is differentiated according to the number of exhibits.

–  –  –

Technology fee If a technical device is required for the presentation of your entry, an additional technology fee of 80 euros will apply.

The fee for the categories Public Space, Interactive Media, TV & Cinema, and Sound

Design has increased slightly due to higher administration costs:

Category 2 Informational Design/Public Space, 7 Interactive Media, 8 TV & Cinema, 9 Sound Design

–  –  –

All prices are subject to statutory VAT. Since the venue of competition is Germany, entries from both Germany and abroad are subject to value-added tax. The registration fees already include VAT at the statutory rate of 16%. Competitors for the “red dot: junior prize” receive a 50% discount on the applicable registration and technical fees; the fee for return shipment is payable in full.

If the entrant receives an award this results in a contractual relationship on the basis of which the participant is obliged to pay certain fees.
