Rutgers University - Department of Political Science National Science Foundation Research Assistantship 2007 Principal Investigators - Richard Lau, Department of Political Science David Redlawsk, Department of Political Science Edison Media Research National Exit Poll Weighting Team, Consultant - Election Day 2008, 2010 Selected Professional Experience Center on the American Governor Grant Request-for-Proposals – Spring 2012 Coordinated the award of $50,000 in research grants promoting the study of governors across the nation.

Center on the American Governor National Science Foundation Grant Proposal Coordinated a $1.4 million grant proposal to conduct a four-year long study, delivering a cross-sectional and panel survey within 16 states, gathering information about what citizens know about and want from governors, as well as how they make their vote-decisions. Declined by NSF.

Center on the American Governor Summer Internship – June - August 2011 Coordinated 10 research-based interns, organizing a unique research project each week centered on the study of governors. Projects included creating a nationwide database of governors who served from 1947-2011, conducting and analyzing the results of a phone survey about what people know about governors, conducting newspaper content analysis of election news articles, designing experiments, and posting research findings on intern-run blogs.





Center on the American Governor Advisory Group Meeting – December 2010 Coordinated an advisory group meeting of 12 experts on governors and gubernatorial research to: promote the study of governors; develop guidelines for future research projects; plan for the collection, preservation and dissemination of existing data; and creation of a curriculum for educating about governors.
